|h1>Cherry Thumbprint Christmas Cookie Recipe
2/3 cup unsalted butter (room temperature)
1/3 cup granulated sugar
2 large egg yolks
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 tsp. salt
1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 large egg whites
3/4 cup finely chopped walnuts
5 red glacé cherries, halved
5 green glacé cherries, halved
Preheat oven to 350 F. Line baking sheets with parchment
In a large bowl, beat together butter and sugar until light and
fluffy. Beat in egg yolks, vanilla extract and salt. Gradually stir
